Of course for most of the flight home, Cloud continued to deny that something was wrong with him when asked. Paling and turning green probably didn't help in convicing anyone.
So there he was, walking on shakey legs to grab his bags. Looking around and finding a wall he could use to support himself. Ignoring everyone around him. He just wanted to get home and curl up to Zack and bitch about his week away.

"Barely. Uuh...eventful. Very eventful, but at the same time, boring as hell."
He was glad he knew how to pack lightly or else his shoulder would have been aching a lot more. Cloud smiled even more, quirking a brow and tilting his head a fraction.
"You actually came to see me?"

Which he did now. Cloud always came back, because he had everything to come back to. He'd made a promise to a friend he wouldn't leave again. Not for a long time.
Cloud looked up quickly at Zack in confusion. It was...well that was sudden. Struggling against him, Cloud stopped and turned around. "What's wrong?" Zack had just sounded incredibley nervous, and there was a huge change in character. Not only that but...Something didn't feel right.
What had made Zack change? Had he seen someone? Cloud looked around and stopped, his eyes widened and he cursed under his breath. Sephiroth knew about Zack...Zack...Didn't know about Sephiroth. And with all this knowing, or unknowing, Cloud didn't know what to do.

It seemed so. The entire last eight or so years seemed like they suddenly didn't matter anymore. There hadn't been a point to them after all. Zack was alive and well and he'd wasted the better part of a decade on the memory of a ghost who wasn't even gone.
Leaning forward, Sephiroth rested his head in hands. He barely registered Yazoo's presence, let alone knew what to say to him about it. All he could think of at the moment was Zack.

Without moving far from his brother, Yazoo scanned the room for any stimilus that might have triggered this reaction. Thinking it was something Hojo-related, Yazoo looked for people that were close. There were people hugging and kissing, but they seemed to like it. One couple however didn't.
It was small blond guy and a tall dark-haired man that...looked distressed. They both did...and were looking in his and Sephiroth's general direction...What the hell is going on?!.
Yazoo shifted back to his brother after narrowing his eyes at the two men.
"Ne, Sephiroth. Please...." He was resting his head in his hands now. It was a gesture of visually trying to block something out. Either physically or mentally, something to do with memories. Yazoo reached up and touched Sephiroth's wrists gentlely, trying to gain his attention.
