Cloud had been glad the moment he could get up and get off the plane. Being unable to move for as long as he had, had brought his travel sickness on tenfold. The blonde had spent most of the ride with his head focussing on the seat infront of him, or facing the pan of a toilet. He really didn't like flying, and seeing solid ground, solid ground that marked he was home, he had to stop himself from dropping to his knees and kissing it.

Of course for most of the flight home, Cloud continued to deny that something was wrong with him when asked. Paling and turning green probably didn't help in convicing anyone.
So there he was, walking on shakey legs to grab his bags. Looking around and finding a wall he could use to support himself. Ignoring everyone around him. He just wanted to get home and curl up to Zack and bitch about his week away.

Cloud hadn't expected anyone to be there for him. He'd completely forgotten he'd told Zack where he was going and his flight times there and back. So to say he was surprised to hear his voice was an understatement. The blonde had only just managed not to jump and spin around. Heaving his bag over his shoulder and letting the strap settle, he turned his head to look at the older man. He was smiling, and trying to glare at the same time, ducking his head and with his free arm swatting Zack's hand.

"Barely. Uuh...eventful. Very eventful, but at the same time, boring as hell."

He was glad he knew how to pack lightly or else his shoulder would have been aching a lot more. Cloud smiled even more, quirking a brow and tilting his head a fraction.

"You actually came to see me?"

He'd been the last one off of the plane, assigned as a rear guard in case something happened. Once assured that nobody suspicious had been following Rufus, Sephiroth exited the plane and entered the airport proper. Glancing around (and glad to be at least a head taller than the crowd), the silver-haired man kept an eye out for his younger brother, hoping the other would still meet him there ( ... )

Running a little late that morning due to Kadaj's bitchings about coming with him to the airport to greet their brother, Yazoo hastely parked his Beemer, got out and an locked it as he hurried to the gate his brother's flight would be unloading at ( ... )

Cloud raised an eyebrow and shook his head slowly. Looking to the ground but still smiling. "It's...just the first time anyones been there when I come back."
Which he did now. Cloud always came back, because he had everything to come back to. He'd made a promise to a friend he wouldn't leave again. Not for a long time.

Cloud looked up quickly at Zack in confusion. It was...well that was sudden. Struggling against him, Cloud stopped and turned around. "What's wrong?" Zack had just sounded incredibley nervous, and there was a huge change in character. Not only that but...Something didn't feel right.

What had made Zack change? Had he seen someone? Cloud looked around and stopped, his eyes widened and he cursed under his breath. Sephiroth knew about Zack...Zack...Didn't know about Sephiroth. And with all this knowing, or unknowing, Cloud didn't know what to do.

At first, he hadn't believed Cloud. Sephiroth had been there for the man's funeral, after all. The resulting investigation had been humiliating beyond all belief and had ultimately led to him losing his career and the ability to see his little brothers. Had all of that pain been for nothing?

It seemed so. The entire last eight or so years seemed like they suddenly didn't matter anymore. There hadn't been a point to them after all. Zack was alive and well and he'd wasted the better part of a decade on the memory of a ghost who wasn't even gone.

Leaning forward, Sephiroth rested his head in hands. He barely registered Yazoo's presence, let alone knew what to say to him about it. All he could think of at the moment was Zack.

The way his older brother was acting was starting to scare him. He didn't know what was wrong, so he didn't know how to fix it. Sephiroth just didn't act this way, at least not in public.

Without moving far from his brother, Yazoo scanned the room for any stimilus that might have triggered this reaction. Thinking it was something Hojo-related, Yazoo looked for people that were close. There were people hugging and kissing, but they seemed to like it. One couple however didn't.

It was small blond guy and a tall dark-haired man that...looked distressed. They both did...and were looking in his and Sephiroth's general direction...What the hell is going on?!.

Yazoo shifted back to his brother after narrowing his eyes at the two men.

"Ne, Sephiroth. Please...." He was resting his head in his hands now. It was a gesture of visually trying to block something out. Either physically or mentally, something to do with memories. Yazoo reached up and touched Sephiroth's wrists gentlely, trying to gain his attention.
