Sora was getting better at telling darkness from light - he knew now that the breezy Kairi was light and smoky feel of Nise was dark. Or at least, as he perceived them. Sora wasn't sure everyone perceived the same way. That wasn't the point here anyway, so as Sora ducked back into the alleyway he had been coming out of and took a deep breath. Yeah, that was darkness. He held his breath as the people went by, not wanting to be noticed.

The darkness was overwhelming the light. That one! The one talking. Sora knew her. But . . . Oh. The marketplace musical. She and her friend had caused it. The other one . . . The other one reminded him of Chrome for some strange strange reason. And to speak of it, was that Chrome? Maybe.

What way were they walking? Toward the castle. Sora walked down the alley and took a back route. Whatever was happening, it was not good. Not good, not good . . . Sora bit his lower lip and kept walking. If the light flickered, that meant they were still nearby. The lights didn't flicker for no reason.

The nice thing about having the others distracted was that it made an excellent cover for Drake as he tailed Twenty and the two girls into the main area of Rivelata. Why he'd picked Bubbles was so totally beyond him though; that woman was about thirty times more obnoxious in person than she was over the journals. Silently he made a note to not have to deal with her any more than was strictly possible. He had enough of a migraine from the earlier group in the Sphere as it was ( ... )

Even though he couldn't shift forms, Twenty wasn't about to let a possible key to his memories get away. He wouldn't leave the girls behind, but he definitely wanted to speak to the boy.

"Come on, help me get him!"

Taking off down the street, Twenty barely managed to keep his sarong in place. He tried to make sure that Last and Bubbles were following him and didn't go too far ahead of them. Every step along the way he checked his powers, stretching mentally, looking for possibilities to use his magic and keep up with Nagi.

But no, as he went closer to the castle, so the flickering lights kept went too, like an airplane landing strip with Nagi as the jet still high in the sky. The lamps that the group left behind near the crash site whirred back to life and stopped pulsing once the group left the area. It didn't look like Twenty had noticed the onlookers yet.

"I NEED INFORMATION! THEN I CAN TAKE BACK MY REVENGE! AFTER THE MEMORIES ARE EXPLAINED, ONLY THEN!"

Wait, what revenge? Is that part of what I'm missing? Part of the Twelve's

The cries from the woman made it more obvious that they weren't about to leave him alone anytime soon. Spinning to face them, Nagi kept his motion propelling forward toward the castle but looking back at his pursuers.

Narrowing his eyes, he took a longer look at the man heading the pack: cat ears and a tail swishing behind him. Are there really cat-cultists of Zikhadhara still running around?

Nagi decided to add some more notes to his latest journal entry in hopes that it would flush out any other cultists, to be dealt with all at once.

At the intersection of the professional district, park, market district, and crash site, Nagi took a hard turn in the direction of the East Gate - straight out to the Corpse Field, now nothing but skeletons.

Too focused on chasing after the strange man and his equally odd women companions(not native at all, she noted, though if it weren't for the man's feline features, she would have considered him a native too), she almost ran past Sora without realizing it ( ... )
