WHO: [[Explorers from Edensphere]] Twenty/Humanform!Zikhadhara shatterpieces, Last/Amalthea the Unicorn der_leisten, Bubbles/Glinda the Good Witch bubble_ditz, and anyone following them plus [[Marketplace Wanderers]] Naoe Nagi technokinetic and anyone who sees him flying around the marketplace
WHAT: A very large plot-wagon aka Marketplace Chase Scene that can most definitely be interrupted
WHERE: Marketplace and then out to the Skeleton Field
WHEN: Day 293 - early evening (January 14th)
Twenty wasn't as out of place as he felt, his looks were the dark skin and dark hair that many natives possessed these days, so it was only his ears and tail that really stood out. However, with his sarong on and matted hair covering most of his ears, it wasn't as obvious. With Last on one arm and Bubbles on the other, his complexion looked even darker - Bubbles was blonde with well-kept hair, but Last was pale to the point of sunburn-threat along with hair being stark white.
He wrote a few notes in his own journal, noting Fallen's curiosity as to whether or not his powers worked. Summoning a concentration on just his arm, Twenty tried to make it shift into his warcat form.
But nothing happened.
He relayed this to Fallen in outrage and looked around in frustration, somehow assured that there was something in the air that was stopping his powers.

No sooner did the street-lamps come on than they started flickering. After a moment, the ones closer to the Castle and the Beach became steady again, but the ones nearer to the center of the city kept pulsing slowly.

To keep his powers sharp, Nagi moved from building to building, even crossing the street despite all the looks he was getting. He'd been inside a long time and was anxiously stretching his limits again. It took him a few minutes, but he did manage to get from where he'd been staying at Les Bijoux onto the main thoroughfare.
Hovering over the middle of the street, he looked long and hard at the branch sticking out of the beach and the bubbled oak tree that spanned the sky.
"I wonder what everyone's doing..." he remarked sadly. Then something on the far island, below the branch-bridge, caught Nagi's eye.
What is that red glow? It's as bright as when I collapsed the warehouse back home...
