The nice thing about having the others distracted was that it made an excellent cover for Drake as he tailed Twenty and the two girls into the main area of Rivelata. Why he'd picked Bubbles was so totally beyond him though; that woman was about thirty times more obnoxious in person than she was over the journals. Silently he made a note to not have to deal with her any more than was strictly possible. He had enough of a migraine from the earlier group in the Sphere as it was.

The party of three headed into the center of the city, and Drake peeled off and went at something of an angle. He ran up the side of the nearest building, flipping over to the top of the roof before bounding along the rooftops, anticipating the direction Twenty and his little harem were going to travel. He was a blur of darkness, hard to spot; even with his powers significantly hampered he was still quite a bit faster than your average human.

Oddly enough, the closer he was to Twenty, the less restrained he felt. Huh.

He made it to the center of the city before they did, racing up the side of the belltower of the Church of New World Religion. Once at the top he perched, a mostly-black shape save for a pale face and blood-red eyes, doing nothing but watching and waiting.
