Now, where was this house again? Before she decided to move in anything, she needed to meet with the girl called Max and make sure everything would be all right. She had been told that most of the people in Riv were friendly, but ever since the explosion, the Lady had her doubts. She needed to learn to trust more people here than just her lover and his sister. Supposedly, it may have been unfriendly to carry her weapon around with her everywhere she went, but she would not let the axe out of her sight... especially for a first meeting

Whatever was going on outside, Danny made no indication of knowing what it was. Most likely because he really didn't. Considering Max hadn't told him what she'd done, he had no reason to believe that Max would've been expecting anyone. He did know she was in the roof, but that was pretty much it. Besides, the walls of the house were pretty thick, so sounds didn't carry so easily through it.

Therefore, it made sense to him when he walked out of the front door of the house. He had made some spaghetti, but knowing that the sound wouldn't carry through the walls, he figured that it'd be best if he walked outside and then yelled

When Max did not automatically notice her, Subaru sighed a little and began to try again, but she was stopped when someone came through her front door. A young boy, probably the same age as Max. She tried to hide her chuckle when he began talking about spaghetti, and she did it terribly. Putting her hand in front of her mouth, she smiled and let a quiet laugh show through. Were these two together. It appeared they lived in the same house. They looked young, but they could still be boyfriend and girlfriend. Those terms seemed a bit childish, but they were much too young to be called lovers.

Striding across the street, perfect posture with her weapon, she came directly to the boy. He was almost as adorable as her new kitten. He looked so young to be here in Rivelata, yet he still managed to be a handful of inches taller than she. He seemed quite confused, so she decided to clarify things.

"Hello, my name is Subaru," she introduced herself, cutting the Lady just to seem less formal. She had been doing that much more recently. It made

Had Max known Subaru had initially though she and Danny were boyfriend and girlfriend, she would have revoked her offer of the house and immediately moved out of the house and very far away from Danny. She had noticed Subaru, but before she could answer, Danny had already talked to her. Giving a nod to the blue-haired, ax-wielding woman, Max leaped off the roof and gracefully glided down to the street.

"Yeah, Max." She gestured to Danny. "He's Danny, a friend of mine. The house is #327. I've already moved out." She pointed across the street to the house, and then looked back at Subaru. "Lelouch coming later, I take it?"

She glanced back at Danny, "You know... it's pretty easy to just come get me? I hardly think the neighbors like people shouting about spaghetti."

It took her a moment to realize how short Danny was, and it was emphasized as she looked down at Subaru. Spending so much time around tall mutant bird children had obviously distorted her version of "tall". She ruffled her seven foot wings and settled them under her hoodie

Lelouch, having found the note, had gone to inform Euphie only to find, to his embarrassment she already knew and was packing. After assuring him for about the fifth time that she would be able to bring her own clothes on her own, he finally recognized she was being about as adamant now as she was in defense of the Special Administrative Zone of Japan, and so, smiling, perhaps a little sadly, he nodded and acquiesced.

Now, a not-so-short while later, carrying two cases and alternately dragging King and having his heels nipped and scratched by the leashed cat, Lelouch finally arrived at Max's house, looking hassled, tired, and more than a little stressed.

Still, his face lit up as he spotted Subaru, though it lasted only for a moment before his expression became pained as the cat bit into, rather than nipped at, his ankle.
