Now, where was this house again? Before she decided to move in anything, she needed to meet with the girl called Max and make sure everything would be all right. She had been told that most of the people in Riv were friendly, but ever since the explosion, the Lady had her doubts. She needed to learn to trust more people here than just her lover and his sister. Supposedly, it may have been unfriendly to carry her weapon around with her everywhere she went, but she would not let the axe out of her sight... especially for a first meeting.

Counting the numbers on the houses, she was almost there. Subaru was cautious, keeping her perfect posture, looking from side to side. She had left a note on their bed for Lelouch to come here when he was free and bring Euphie if she was there... for this would be their new home. Finally, she stopped in front of house #327 and smiled. It was nice, incredibly nice compared to her one room at the inn. Also, it would probably have a kitchen. And although it looked a little beaten up, older, it was still a wonderful sight to behold after being in the same one room for so long. Already she planned things, how the little situations would go as she stood in front of this house. Lelouch and she would share the master bedroom, Euphie would be most comfortable in a room nearby. Even King would be able to have his little area to live. And maybe one of them would know how to cook because Subaru could not remember whether or not she could.

Now, Max said that she lived across the street. Turning on her toes, she spun around to start at a creature perched atop the neighboring house. Staring and blinking a little, her eyes came into focus to recognize a girl with magnificent hawk wings stretched out beautifully on the blue sky. Subaru could vaguely recognize Max from the ball, looking quite unhappy to be there. Smiling now, Subaru lightly waved one arm to get the girl's attention. "Max!" she called out happily.
