Whatever was going on outside, Danny made no indication of knowing what it was. Most likely because he really didn't. Considering Max hadn't told him what she'd done, he had no reason to believe that Max would've been expecting anyone. He did know she was in the roof, but that was pretty much it. Besides, the walls of the house were pretty thick, so sounds didn't carry so easily through it.

Therefore, it made sense to him when he walked out of the front door of the house. He had made some spaghetti, but knowing that the sound wouldn't carry through the walls, he figured that it'd be best if he walked outside and then yelled.

Sure, he could probably float up and phase through the floors, but considering how his powers kept fritzing out, he didn't want to end up stuck through the floor or something. "Hey Max!" He called out, not yet noticing that there was someone else on the street. "I made more spaghetti than I thought! Want some? It's goo-"

That was when he noticed the dark-blue haired woman from his peripheral vision.

Turning his head to face her, he blinked, confusion written blatantly across his face. "Uh... hi?" He called out rather awkwardly, waving his hand in the same awkward manner. "Sorry, I didn't see you."
