While sitting pretty in a brand new dress, Giselle had called to herself several of the native animals of Rivelata and had began to sing with them-- Pretty, lighthearted songs about True Love and friendship. Oh, how she loved her songs, and how her new animal friends loved them, as well!
She's gotten used to their inability to talk in a language she could understand, but still, she often wished they could really sing along with her. ...If only Pip had been here.
She rose to her feet and bound, singing, across the park, several cats and other such animals in tow, her arms spread out wide. "Let your heart chart the course, my dear~ Let your song of love drift across the years~ You'll grow love-- Yes, grow and grow love~"

This... this was something else entirely.
Ears twitching and tail flicking, Kanda just stood there as some girl in a ridiculous looking dress pranced about the park with... were those animals prancing along with her???
Normally, Kanda did not care for the personal business of others, but this display was so goddamn beyond anything he had ever seen before, he had a feeling that if he didn't say something, this was going to bother him for the rest of his life.
"Excuse me, miss," he spoke up as she and her little furry entourage bounced by him. "What... are you doing?"

"Why, I'm singing and dancing~"
She might as well have been glistening with sparkles, she was so happy.
But ... what? Oh, how cute! He had cat ears! And a glance around to his backside uncovered a tail, too!
She giggled in excitement and clapped her hands together. "You're so very cute," Giselle exclaimed, reaching for his hand. "You should sing and dance with us! We'd love to have you."

When he recovered from being blindsided by a cheerfulness that made Lenalee look depressed on her best day in comparison, Kanda managed to scowl darkly at her. "I don't sing," he snapped. "Nor do I dance."
His tail swished with agitation again. Actually, he had sung songs and danced once. When he was six, and playing Ring-Around-the-Rosie with Lenalee. And come to find out, that innocent little tune turned out to be a medieval death chant.
How delightfully morbid.

Well, she wasn't about to let that get her down!
...The no singing-and-dancing thing, though, was a little disheartening. She'd hoped she found someone else to join her.
"Oh," she said finally. "I'm sorry.... But there's other things you can do to express the joy and happiness in your heart!"
...Wait, wasn't there something she was forgetting? Oh, yeah!
"My name's Giselle!"
