As if he didn't already have enough on his mind.
Daisya's strange departure had caught Kanda so off-guard that he couldn't think of a response, either out of temper or otherwise. And he gave up trying to think of one when he watched the other boy walk away.
What... was that?
Needless to say, Kanda had no idea how to react to Daisya's sudden and emotional confession of intimacy. And it wasn't so much that he had no idea how to react, so much as he had no idea how he was supposed to react, and that inner conflict had stunned him into silence.
Granted, Kanda did have that interesting little incident with both Daisya and Lenalee a few nights ago that had probably been more intimate than he would have cared for on a normal basis. He blamed the Cat, his inner cat, a rare moment of stupidity, he was not himself after all, unfamiliar urges, sun spots despite the fact it had been at night...
Wait. Why was he making excuses? He never made excuses. He owned up to his actions, and ridiculed others who did not. But this... why couldn't he own up to this?
That night... why did he even do that? Not changing Daisya into a cat, because that had been necessary, but then that happened...
Why was he even thinking about that???
Kanda growled, tail puffing slightly as he stormed down the street, approaching the park. There was a war going on, he needed to focus on preparing for that and being able to fight when the time came. He still had some money that Lenalee found in the house; Eikyu needed sharpening, there were other weapons to aquire, perhaps even some armor...
Yet, his mind still kept wandering back to Daisya and Lenalee, they way they've been acting, and that night...
