WHO: Yu Kanda and Daisya Barry; possibility of them running into other characters while they are out and about.
WHAT: Kanda has growing concerns about the war and Lenalee's bliss.
WHERE: Outside the Exorcist's home; walking around the town.
WHEN: Afternoon
While Kanda had stated in his journal that the war was no concern of his, he hadn't exactly been telling the truth. Not completely anyway. True, he didn't give a damn about the quarrel between the brat and her cat, but he did very much give a damn about how that meaningless quarrel might effect those around him.
One person in particular.
Not that he didn't like seeing Lenalee happy. It seemed she was very much back to her usual perky self just like back home, when she was always greeting him with that annoying cheerfulness and trying to get him to drink the coffee she made in the morning. Or when they were children and she followed him around the seemingly eternal halls of the Order like a worshiping kitten.
He knew all too well how she could get. And watching his journal, his tail flicked as he frowned in concern.
Kanda found Daisya still curled up in a ball on the bed, grinning like an idiot as he slept. Sometimes, Kanda wondered if he held on to his cat instincts, in spite of the fact they were pretty much completely human again, except for a few physical characteristics and the occasional strange feline urge.
"Hey," Kanda spoke up, poking him. When Daisya merely mumbled something incoherent, Kanda just lost his patience. Giving in to one of those frequent feline urges, instead of throwing the guy on the floor, he lunged forward and nipped his ear. "Hey!"
