So, for whatever reason, me and my roommate decided to watch Elizabeth: The Golden Age tonight after having watching the first Elizabeth movie earlier. Compared to the first one, this sequel is ... well ... lacking in a lot of ways.

So, I watched the director's cut of Troy tonight which I recently purchased.

To preface, I love the original version. Yes, it has some flaws in it, but Sean Bean as Odysseus was as Ewan MacGregor playing Obi-Wan, and the fight scenes for Achilles flat out kicked righteous, mondo ass. For the most part, the director's cut is more of the same, ( Read more... )

Just watched 3:10 to Yuma with Christian Bale (one of the best actors currently in the business) and Russell Crowe. Fantastic flick.
