3:10 to Yuma
Just watched 3:10 to Yuma with Christian Bale (one of the best actors currently in the business) and Russell Crowe. Fantastic flick. As someone whose always like westerns (heck, I'm currently playing in a Deadlands roleplaying game on Friday nights, and that's just a western with zombies and magic and shit), it was nice to see a good western for a change. Crowe is remarkably believable as a charismatic outlaw and, unsurprisingly, Bale is magnificent in his role as a rancher intent on seeing the outlaw to a train. Good gunfights, good acting. Four out of five stars.
