Pennsic help?
Anyone heading to Pennsic from the Boston area with extra room? My car's on the injured list till Monday night, and I have the camp utility sink and water heater. I'd like to get it to my camp mates before Tuesday.

Finally!
I have a new to me used car. I picked it up Monday. There was a chip in the middle of the windshield when I picked it up. Unfortunately, they'd washed the windshield, and there were drops of water on it, and the chip looked like a drop of water with a bit of something black in it. Sewing question...
How many times do you pre-wash your fabric? I have heavy cotton, linen, and linen/cotton or linen/rayon, which will all be used for things that are tailored, and I don't want nasty surprises, which I've gotten with only one pre-wash/shrink. -
Ideas on Chicago sublets?
One of my roommates, Mike-the-opera-singer, is going to be singing at the Lyric Opera, October-ish through mid-December. He's looking for a sublet, preferably furnished, someplace where there's parking. I've never looked for a sublet, so I really don't have much of a clue... Any suggestions on where to look for one? -
Sewing machines for sale
My mother is trying to downsize. For a while, she was acquiring sewing machines, and has finally sorted out a few she's willing to let go, and has put prices on them. I'm willing to discuss delivery.
