Finally!
I have a new to me used car. I picked it up Monday. There was a chip in the middle of the windshield when I picked it up. Unfortunately, they'd washed the windshield, and there were drops of water on it, and the chip looked like a drop of water with a bit of something black in it. After driving a couple miles, I thought it was a dead bug. Tuesday afternoon I finally took a fingernail to it and found that it was a tiny chip and a tiny crack. I brought the car to the dealer Wednesday, and was told to bring it back Thursday. I brought it back and they tried to tell me I'd done it.... After much back and forth, they've arranged to pay their glass guy to do it. It will be dealt with Tuesday.
