We had our going away campout last night and it was a lot of fun. Everyone got there late and tromped out in the dark with the giant spiders. eeek! I am awake and it is 8:30 in the morning. Wtf. I am too darn anxious to get moving I think. I have nothing to pack and not much that couldn't be done after a decent hour such as noon. I don't want to be awake, but the npr guys won't shut up and play soothing classical music.

well we are back in lawrence and it's my birthday. I'm 23 now. It's been a nice birthday, josey is cooking me lunch and i'm baking cookies. I am having trouble adjusting to the heat, so I am mostly hiding out in the ac. Looks like friday night is going to be our going away campout. We will get an email circulating with more info.

We finally made it to Silver City, NM after driving for 2 very long days with out a tape player. (torture). Its a nice little place that seems to be full of artists hiding from pretention.
