guess where i am?
We finally made it to Silver City, NM after driving for 2 very long days with out a tape player. (torture). Its a nice little place that seems to be full of artists hiding from pretention. Sounds like a place where I just might fit in. I have to go do all that responsbile stuff like look at apartments and get a job tommorrow. We've been wandering around town and campus to get a feel for the place. Josey lived in the woods 60 miles north of here 2 years ago, so he had a somewhat different perspective of the town. So its more or less new to both of us. I think I am going to like it, although I would really rather live in the country. I don't know if that is possible right now though. Most of the rentals seem to be in town. I have come to the conclusion that most towns and/or cities are essentially interchangeable. I like to visit them to buy things and go to resturants and stuff, but I would much rather be without all the plastic and distractions. The Gila Nat. Forest is gorgeous. I want to live in the middle of that, but I really dont' think that would be good for it. If one person does it everyone does and then it isn't pretty anymore. I guess I will just have to visit it alot.
