I don’t drive.  My story is complicated, but I’ll try to keep simple and short. . . (me and short, the only thing short about me is height 5ft.)

I think that is a pretty rational reason for developing a fear. I'm glad you weren't physically hurt by that car. How could they not even stop? THEY HIT A KID. People like that... grrr. I don't even know what to say. In any case, I think it's awesome that you use mass transit. Your carbon footprint is smaller than the rest of us! :)

Also, I drive enough every day to make up for you and your brother combined! :(

They were supposedly on their way to the bar. . . I guess they were in the rush to get to that "happy hour." My dad saw a very similar car, same bright color blue when he had taken me to the hospital as we had passed this bar.
We didn't stop, because my dad wanted to make sure I didn't have any internal bleeding.

My brother had stopped on the yellow line and he says he had no idea why he had to this day.
