Max stayed home from school for the second day in a row due to the latest upper respiratory excitement making the rounds. Khai's got the nose-goo again and I'm holding steady with a sore throat and some chills... maybe by tomorrow we can pretend to be back to normal.

Is it sad I got a little excited about a hula hoop workout? It actually crossed my mind that the hula hoop could be just the change I was looking for. Um, no.

You know, I think I know what I was thinking. What I want is a step aerobic set at home. But! Have you *seen* the home workout DVDs.?! Hello? It's not 1982, people. I find it hard to believe that so few ppl do step anymore that the only option was to turn the VHSs into DVDs. Granted, it should be about the workout and not the wardrobe, but looking at wedgie-tards like theirs makes me keep picking my own butt. I'd probably start sweating from that at some point, but I'm not sure how aerobic that would be.

Yet the hula hoop videos look filmed in at least the 90s. Because SO many people use those workouts. Who knew? ;)

And! My latest chocolate research proves that brownies turn into vitamins if you eat them while hooping. I say you make the hoops, I make the brownies, and it's you, me, and tons'o'fun tomorrow at 8. Deal?

BTW, we got the thank-you card, and Khai has been carrying it around. It's "Santa from Zoe" and no one is allowed to touch it.
I have two cards that my boys made for Zoe *ages* ago, but I've not been to the post office. It's on my to-do list for tomorrow! I have no excuse except MOTHERHOOD. Gah.
