It's 2:30am! I have been lying in bed, listening to the rain fall outside. Coughing. A lot. Tossing. Turning. Not sleeping. Coughing some more. The kids will be up in about 3.5 hours. I've not had caffeine in over two weeks now, but that's obviously not helping the insomnia.

Earlier today, I set the DVR to record the movie Proof. This evening, I sat down to watch it with all of my ready-to-fold laundry. It was really good. Until! The biggest drawback to not hosting Thanksgiving dinner is the lack of leftovers. That's one of the best parts! We had a good afternoon in Dallas-- food, full tummies & family.

Max stayed home from school for the second day in a row due to the latest upper respiratory excitement making the rounds. Khai's got the nose-goo again and I'm holding steady with a sore throat and some chills... maybe by tomorrow we can pretend to be back to normal.
