Not too long ago, a dear friend gave me some Lancôme trial-size makeup samples that she knew she wouldn't use. Among the goodies: a tiny tube of mascara. I didn't use it for a couple of weeks, because...mascara is mascara, right?

Max stayed home from school for the second day in a row due to the latest upper respiratory excitement making the rounds. Khai's got the nose-goo again and I'm holding steady with a sore throat and some chills... maybe by tomorrow we can pretend to be back to normal.
