He seems to be ignoring the concept of the American Revolution. The founding fathers were not exactly thrilled with their English heritage.

And I would like to think that other Americans who read that sort of drivel would speak up for their own country from time to time, especially people running the show. But obviously other things are more important to them than freedom, democracy, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and 200 years of American history.

Now, they're trashing George Lippert as an SVA wannabe. I do think that Lippert's stories are entirely something different from the Lexicon. Even if SVA/RDR win, I don't see Lippert publishing his sequel as a series.

I understand that pet peeve, and I also have it.
I noticed that you quoted him and linked the source. All under fair use. It seems to be with this law suite many posters are scared to do this. They feel that they have to ask permission from the sources to do this. My boss was telling me that AP was trying to get bloggers to pay for doing this.
