I've been waiting for the votes to be counted in Florida, and this afternoon Romney finally conceded there. Obama won with 332 Electoral Votes (based on population of states) to Mitt Romney's 206. This week marks the 50th anniversary of the 1962 movie version of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird.

Last week the Supreme Court spent three days debating Obama's Health Care Bill. Unfortunately at times it was more like theater of the absurd, as several Justices compared complex health insurance problems to whether or not we could be forced to eat our broccoli. *sigh* And it turns out, sadly, the whole broccoli example came from . . . I was sort of depressed last night after Romney's cheerful and bizarre speech in Illinois in which he said all kinds of outrageous things about Obama (he would have stopped the Wright Brothers? really?) and made fun of him for going to Law School. Yeah, that Law School-Harvard-the same one Mitt attended when he got a Law Degree.
