I have now seen the Avengers...
I did not want to see this movie, but got dragged talked into attending. I hang my head in shame for being one of the masses.
Two comments:
1) IMO, Hunger Games is still the best movie I've seen this year.
2) Jeremy Renner could totally get it. Any day. Twice on Sundays. -

I saw Warrior in September and called a best supporting actor nomination for Nick Nolte here. Oscar nominations came out this morning and who had a nomination? Uh-huh, that's right!

It's cheesy and corny, but this wedding dance video to Justin Bieber's "Baby" got me through one of the most WTF days of work I've had in a long time.

Movie Recommendation
Randomly back to say this: Go See The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo now.
I've never read any of the Steig Larsson books, but holy crap, it was EXCELLENT!!! Best movie I've seen this year.
(As an aside: I wouldn't want to know Lisbeth, but damn if I wouldn't mind having her brain.) -
Warrior (a.k.a. just give Nick Nolte a Best Supporting Actor nomination already)
Thank you, azewewish for raving about Warrior and commandeing her Friends list to see the movie. It took a week for me, but man, it was great! Just got back from the theater and I'm already thinking I may want to see it again!!!

Tardy to the Party
So, 3 years after everyone else jumped on the bandwagon, I've decided that an A03 (Archive of Our Own) account might be a good idea. The fact that I've got at least 20 bookmarks of fic only hosted there tipped the scale. I'm number 839 on the waiting list, with estimate date for an invite of August 31st.
