Me'n Joyfulnewsong went with friends to see THE BLIND SIDE Friday night. It was terrific. Two days later and I'm still smiling.

There is no place better to observe masses of rushing humanity than Hartsfield International Airport; Atlanta, Ga. - the world's busiest.

It is simply fascinating. They're all there. Every single last one. If you ride a plane, sooner or later you'll pass through Atlanta.

 17 year old Melanie Cuidan lost in the quarter finals this evening 9-9-09.  She had a great run; made the U.S. OPEN fun and moved herself way up into the rankings.

It will undoubtedly spoil her but it's been fun to watch so far.
