Why was Henry Gates, Harvard Prof., marched downtown?  It wasn't because he was black; more likely it was for “contempt of cop.”

That's what I've read in a lot of places so far. This guy has made racism his bread and butter so he sees it everywhere. The cops show up to do him a favor (investigate a possible break-in) and he shoves the chip on his shoulder in their faces.
