I had a rather fabulous day yesterday.
Did the tube walk , and to celebrate its completion consumed vodka limes in pubs and parts of London never hitherto visited, then guided back with me those hardy souls who were interested in Lexx , dinner and alcohol (although not necessarily all three, and not in that order ( Read more... )

use half a mug of rice and a mug-full of water per person - the water is more or less all abosrbed by the end of the cooking time. The half-brazilian method (don't start) is to put the rice in the pan, cover it with water, bring to the boil and then leave on minimum heat possible.
