The man who cried Woolfe

I had a rather fabulous day yesterday.
Did the tube walk , and to celebrate its completion consumed vodka limes in pubs and parts of London never hitherto visited, then guided back with me those hardy souls who were interested in Lexx , dinner and alcohol (although not necessarily all three, and not in that order).

I was thoroughly delighted by the company and suitably impressed with edibility of vegetarian dishes, as well as mzdt's ability to cook brown rice. Then as some merrymakers went off to other social engagements, I used the opportunity to immerse miss_newham and verlaine in the delights that were Lexx and Ceca's music videos (all things best enjoyed if you don't attempt to make sense of them).

As the wine sloshed more freely through my system and verlaine failed to resist, I explored alternative future vocations as a hairdresser (should psychology fail to captivate me a few years down the line) by weaving his hair into an elaborate concoction of braids, shown here for your viewing pleasure:

and in the process discovered that should verlaine ever tire of his vocation as a librarian he could probably have a future as a Virginia Woolf Impersonator

Alternatively, I'm sure that given some flowers I could also transform him into Waterhouse's Ophelia.
