I am super-excited about Merlin airing in the US. I mean, my RL friends aren't going to look at me like I'm crazy anymore, and if it's successful there are going to be awesome action figures and such. I really want to read modern!AU with Merlin as a bookstore owner. Wouldn't that be awesome? Merlin would be curled up enjoying a good book, and then Arthur would come barging in looking for a textbook and get frustrated by Merlin's eclectic collection of books or something.
