Just scored row 5, section 101 tickets for New Kids here in town in November. It's the first section on the side, by the stage. We'll either be on teh side, or right at the corner of the stage. Yay!! A $67 ticket that ends up costing $82 with all the fees. Ugh. HATE ticketmaster!

Well, my sister, her friend Julie, and my friend Rosemary got tickets for the Chicago show. We're flying there. Not the best seats, but not the worset either. Section 210. Yep, nosebleed. But, very close to the stage. Going to try Saturday and see if I can get a better deal, and sell the ones we got today.

Last night was the Emerson Hart show at Pop's Nightclub on the "east side". My first time there. a 24/7 bar right in the middle of the strip clubs. It was not like I was picturing inside... the bathroom was really clean! lol I just had a bad image of the place in my mind ( Read more... )

The official high today was 78 degrees. It was a bit windy, but it felt wonderful! I got to wear jeans, a t-shirt, and flip flops! I decided for my exercise today, I'd go walk around the Zoo. Well, it took me over an hour to get there! I take 44 to Hampton, and it to the Zoo. I got to Hampton in the normal time, less than 10 minutes. I don't know ( Read more... )

Thsi is the last weekend for "Body Worlds" at the Science Center. They stayed open 24 hours all weekend. So after work Friday, Nancy and I went. Not too much of a crowd at midnight. And free coffee and gooey butter cake samples! I was good, and just had a one inch square piece... only about 75 calories. Boy was it good ( Read more... )

So, no loss since my last weigh-in, which was before the cruise. Well, I guess there was. I lost the couple pounds I gained on the 10 day vacation! But, I did lose in inches and body fat %, so I was happy with that ( Read more... )

So, I leave for Miami in less than 4 days. Yipee!!! :) And I found a second, more fancy dress for formal night. But I still need to get either a strapless bra, or one with clear straps, without spending a fortune. I hope to not be able to fit into it in another few months ( Read more... )
