Isn't it interesting how quickly things change? Yesterday I was bouncy and happy and words flowed with ease and I was doing stuff. Today I've been tired, fed up, bored, found writing difficult (though I reached my 1000 word goal) and just very very meh.

So yesterday I had an e-mail tutorial session. It was...odd. Funny but odd. Best quote of the session, when referring to my character Ellie and the lies she had told my tutor made this comment: "Maybe its me. Maybe I have problems trusting powerful beautiful kind women." XD

Passed the 30K mark today - oh yes. ^_^ It really helped improve me mood somewhat, which hasn't really changed from it 'urgh/*sob*' level. Other things that do not help include sleeping in until 11 because I had a serious headache and felt sick ( Read more... )

Next month I turn 23 (on the 23rd no less XD). My current plan is to be home on the day of my birthday (a Thursday) and come back to Bath on the Friday for weekend festivities. It will be a joint birthday and housewarming thing on that weekend ( Read more... )

Passed the 25k mark in my novel yesterday. Currently not sure how long it'll be overall since I'm actually ahead of where I should be according to my chapter plan. I originally estimated 45-50k but it may end up being shorter. I'm hoping for another pro-active writing afternoon today.

Got rained on. Seriously rained on. Shouldn't surprise me, only it was sunny when I left Bath and sunny when I got to Cardiff. Then Jen and I went to see Toy Story 3 (still awesome btw). So had what I thought was my final appointment at the Dermatologist today. Dr Philips is looking scarily thin. Anyway, I thought it would be a brief chat and I would be discharged as his patient. So yesterday was National Cheesecake Day and as some people saw on FB I decided to make a Toblerone Cheesecake. Dom and I ate a piece today and yesterday and YUM! It's so delicious. As requested I'm reporting the recipe here (I think I got it for AllRecipes.com)
