I had just finished taking Anubis for his 2.5-mile walk through the orchard and had exchanged dogs to grab Miss Marley. We walked about half our normal distance when I saw a small woman up ahead with two off-leash, bounding dogs. The first was easily identifiable as a shepherd from that distance.
