Does anyone know if any research has been done on how the school of the authors affects the reader's perception of its validity? Specifically, I am looking for studies that might have compared articles written by someone (supposedly) at an ivy league school vs. by someone (supposedly) at a normal school with two groups of subjects, with the schools ( Read more... )

I've got sh*tty grades, and I'm not proud of it, but I've been trying real hard to pull my grades up for the past 3 semesters, it's just that no matter how hard i work my GPA's constantly at the 3.6 level (3.6/5), and it's driving me nuts because i really do hope to get into a PhD program after i graduate. my grades for the core Psych modules have ( Read more... )
