I've got sh*tty grades, and I'm not proud of it, but I've been trying real hard to pull my grades up for the past 3 semesters, it's just that no matter how hard i work my GPA's constantly at the 3.6 level (3.6/5), and it's driving me nuts because i really do hope to get into a PhD program after i graduate. my grades for the core Psych modules have been straight Bs all the way.
So I'm going to keep trying to pull my grades up, but at the same time, I have to prepare for the possibility that i might just continue getting Bs all the way, or even if i get As, my grades aren't going to be anywhere near sky high.
so my question is, is there ANYTHING i can do to buff up my CV so that i might have a chance of getting into a PhD program? i don't know much about PhD programs, all i know is that grades are important. what else do they look for when choosing students?
Thanks in advance!
(i'm a year 2 psychology major, by the way. have not done any internship programs and is not in any research programs. i am, however, the vice captain of the university softball team, i am hoping the leadership position might help me)
