Truman Again

Sep 10, 2008 20:36

Sorry, I know I posted here like a week ago about this, but I still haven't found any answers after looking through a bunch of websites.
I have an invitation to apply for the Truman Scholarship. I know that after grad school, I want to start working as a clinical psychologist, or work in a school as a psychologist (but not "school psych." Nothing wrong with that, it's just not what I want to do!) I do not want to work in a government agency, nor do I want to work for non-for-profit. I don't want to spend 3 of the 7 years following my grad school graduation doing something I don't want to do.
My question is- does anyone know about this? Would I actually be able to follow my goals AND do their program? It doesn't seem like my plans and their program match up.
Thanks!
