I caught up on a bunch of corporate training/certification yesterday. The least demanding but most tedious task was certifying the code of conduct, a yearly task. Chase Manhattan sent a new credit card to my house recently, as I discovered on Friday. It was addressed to the man who owned the house prior to the owner from whom I bought it. My dad visited on Wednesday, and I knocked off for the rest of the afternoon to do some serious yard work. We mowed the lawn, trimmed the bushes in the front of the house, mulched up a bunch of leaves, raked the back lawn to rid it of as many sticks/twigs and acorn caps as possible in an afternoon, dug out a rogue sumac, and pruned the rose bushes ( Read more... )

I saw a terrible commercial last night. I'm not sure if it's new or old since I don't watch much TV, but I hadn't seen it before.
