I caught up on a bunch of corporate training/certification yesterday. The least demanding but most tedious task was certifying the code of conduct, a yearly task. It's set up so that we must scroll through every page--there are about 35--and then click "accept" at the bottom before doing a final sign-off at the end. This takes a while, especially if there's a traffic spike on the intranet, and is also completely unnecessary. Apparently, showing up to work drunk and armed, grabbing ass, stealing stuff, and then leaving to sell military secrets to foreign nationals is Frowned Upon.
What a productive use of my time.
