Exactly nine years this moment, I was in labor -- in a taxi stuck in midtown traffic and scaring the hell out of the driver. lol! Luckily, The Kid didn't actually show up till about 6pm.

He's very excited about being nine. The festivities began last evening and continue through the weekend.

Getting older is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

I've survived yet another trip around the sun. Go me.

It's 5am and I've just gotten home. We were 5 and a half hours delayed leaving Hong Kong. The tug thingy that pushes the plane from the gate got stuck *to* the plane!
