Ten weeks is about the same length as a Cambridge term. I usually survived this long with a room full of stuff, much of which was delivered by Mum's taxi at some point or other. The thing about Milan is that it is the fashion capital of the world.  It is therefore profitable to open a clothes shop.  In a similar manner to the planet with nothing but shoe shops in H2G2 shops which are not clothes shops die out.  The result is that there isn't really much in Milan apart from the clothes shops.  This causes problems if you ( Read more... )

It seems that my Neighbour's computer didn't happily remove the remaining spyware on reboot, and instead destroyed its registry, requiring the product key before it would do anything else ( Read more... )

One of my neighbours asked me to have a look at her computer yesterday, giving the usual incredibly useful diagnostic of "It's not working". The first port of call was naturally a full scan with spybot, which turned up about 40 items of malware before producing the Blue Screen of Death.
