So last night was a good and bad depending on how you look at it. It was a lot of fun with Laurin meeting fantastic people who were really sweet and funny (a rarity in G-ville). But I also blew my diet on beer and beer (we split 4 pitchers in the course of 4 hours) and promised myself to be home by two and get up to "practice" going to school. ( Read more... )

Today the gallbladder comes out. I will be admitted to Holmes Regional at 8:30a this morning. At 10:30, they start the operation, which is laproscopic so I will have one teeny scar and 2 less teeny scars. At 12:30p they should be finished. Friday I will be discharged. The good news: It's not stress that is making me vomit.
The bad news: I'm having surgery to remove my gullbladder.

I'm scared shitless.

I threw up this morning and again this evening. I have so much to do that I think I'm going to break down. I used to be able to juggle all these tasks, but somehow now I'm coming up short. Perhaps when this is all over, immersing myself in Lane Bryant will be a good idea.

My babies are all grown up into brothers. I'm so excited for all of them. Initiation was yesterday and I shed a tear or two. What I'm not excited about is the fact that I'm wicked (had to throw that in there) hungover and don't want to go into work today.

I just might be the luckiest girl alive. Today I'm headed up to Jacksonville to go to Florida/Georgia, the world's largest cocktail party, and I am wicked excited.
