[It's a nice day in the park - the sun shining down, a breeze blowing through - it's the perfect day for Yosuke to work the stress out with a good friend. The entire park is his training area - trees to climb, benches to jump over and off of, and a thousand and one ways to test his speed and agility. Though there's no enemy

[ Have one (1) bored little girl actually... bothering to leave her house for once.

Yosuke might remember her. She's missing an arm, though: that's new.

Still, she might just be stopping to watch one or both of them training. If that's what they call it.

[He's just finished doing a jumping spin off of a park bench when he looks over and catches sight of her.

He definitely remembers her with two arms, and it stops him in his tracks before he hurries over]

Hey, are you alright? What happened?

[ She says it in perfect deadpan. ]

Sights like this shouldn't be uncommon around this town, right?

[ ...If she's the only person who's lost an arm to the post office, she will be upset. ]

Shut up, of course I'm going to be worried about someone losing an arm. Even you.

Why the hell would this be normal? Aside from that one time I've never seen people go around attacking each other and cutting off arms!

[Yep, he's never seen a post office victim before. Only heard of 'em]

[ Calls out a fierce little voice, and Shana is there, standing on a tree, pointing down at them. They can also get a pretty good... ah, angle up her rather foofy 50's style skirt, but it would probably be unhealthy for anyone to mention that. ]

[Hey, no one calls him a loser, despite it's varying degrees of truth! He stops in his tracks and looks up and - oh my. Oh my.

Well. That was unexpected.

Focus, Yosuke!]

That sounds like a challenge! You sure you can take the both of us?

Shana -> Yosuke -> Souji order peachy?

[ Souji is just... yeah partner, you blatantly look up that dress. Souji is going to cough politely, bend down and relace his shoe. ]

She's pretty tough, Yosuke.

Are you sure either of you two is tough enough to take me?

[ She drops to the ground in a whirl of black cloak/jacket, which wraps around her then whips out almost like wings. ]

[After a set of cardio exercises he decides to take a breather - and what do you know, there's some familiar blue hair over yonder. So, he takes a walk over, grinning]

I doubt it's as good a show as the one I got.

[ Souji is drinking from a bottle of water and he looks up into the branches. ]

Ah. Lancer.

[He dropped out of the tree, smirking and crossing his arms--ignoring the fact that his right hand was bandaged with two fingers in a splint.]

...You two know each other? [Crazy when that happens, isn't it.]

[ Action ] Just the two of us, we can make it if we try

[ This kind of feels like Parkour, that thing that all the cool teens in Europe are doing. Except Souji is terrible at that. Souji can run fast, sure, but don't ask him to maintain balance. And jumping over benches or tumbling safely off of low rooftops or higher places of elevation? That's partner's thing.

But no guts, no glory. Souji is attempting to vault over a park bench. Yosuke did it was nothing, not even touching the bench with his hand or with an errant foot, so Souji takes a running start. He plants his hand on the top and vaults over, except he hits his foot and comes crashing down right on the park bench. ]

Ow.

Building them castles in the sky

[Oh, that didn't sound good at all. He hates to break his stride but he does so to turn around and check on his Partner, wincing at the sight. And Yosuke thought he was getting out of shape. How far had Souji let himself fall? He walks over, offering a hand]

Maybe we should do some strength training for a bit? I don't think your footwork is agreeing with you right now, Partner.

[inababanchou]

[ Ever seen Souji skate? That's right, there's a reason for that. Souji has terrible balance. ]

I... was never good with footwork.

[ He takes the hand and sits up. ]

It's alright. You'll feel better when I can only do thirty push-ups. Or should we take a break for now? We've been at this a while.

[The park was a pleasant break from the monotony of the hospital, which is why she always chose to walk through it on her way home from work. She was slowly getting used to children running around and playing, but she wasn't expecting teens to do be doing the same--and sparring, no less. They reminded her of the Elric brothers, and she almost wished she had someone she could train with. Walking was all right, but it wasn't quite enough. As she passed, she nodded at them.]

[Hey, a new face. Well, new to him at least. It'd be rude to ignore her and they've gotten in some good sparring so he drops his stance, smiling over to her.]
