...I think you might do well to ask for a lesson in grammar, first.

That's very generous of you, Rosella.

It'll make things more fun for everyone, don't you think? After all, the fun of a ball is getting to dance, and if one doesn't know how, then it rather defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

I do think. Although I haven't been to a proper ball in a while, I'll have to brush up.

Why, perhaps you'll have to attend one of our practices, then. It does make perfect, after all.

That cat looks like it's missing its top.

Or his tie, perhaps.

That's a pretty big tie. It must be one of those comically oversized bow ties.

Well, it's comical enough to see a cat dancing at all, and doubly so with an invisible partner. Perhaps a comical tie is exactly right, after all.

It is true. Most don't know how to waltz, nevermind dance, properly.

It's really a shame, isn't it? But it's not so very difficult to learn, either, and there's plenty of time for it before the ball.

Which is dependent on whether one is going.

I should think it'd almost be the other way around, you know--that people would talk themselves out of going for not knowing how to waltz, not decide against learning to waltz because they don't want to attend a ball.

My goodness, it really is like trying to solve a puzzle, working out all these words today.

I see Dr. Tinycat has his sleeves rolled up by now, though.
