That's similar to me, I probably should have gone to bed ten minutes ago, but after seeing this, I'm afraid to. The Sue might invade and ruin my dreams. Much like she did to canon.

Hells yeah. Amy Pond is infinity better than a lot of things, especially Sues. ♥

And at least Amy is short for Amelia and not Amaryllis. *shudders*

I actually like Amaryllis, but only if you are going to call an-appropiate for it- character Amaryllis like...

an elven princess or a mermaid or a fairy.

not a witch who comes from parents who name their boy a common name like "Harry"

I honestly don't understand why anyone would want to be in the HP series. There's magic, but what good does that do them? Their lives are mostly miserable, with good patches thrown in.

i can give a reason... alteration_duck June 28 2010, 15:30:04 UTC
first off, their lives are mostly miserable In the book because, before the book even started there had been the end of a war. when dumbledore was young there was another war, and harry has to deal with another War ( ... )

I can understand why someone might want to be in the wizarding world, but I wouldn't want to be in the HP series. They have to face dangerous situations, creatures, and people and still do their homework on time!

So yes, I agree with you. Being a witch, somewhere removed from the war? Awesome. Being Harry's sister? =/= fun.

Random nitpick: She's reading a book on how to create dark spells. They haven't even started Hogwarts yet! Grab a random eleven year old and give them a book on advanced Object Oriented Coding in a multithreaded system, and I'll bet you galleons to knuts the kid won't be able to understand a word of it.

Sort of like how Snape did...how much would you like to bet that , in further besmirching canon, Teddy Lupin is the same age as Amy and Harry, is a werewolfing metamorph who has to go to a newly replanted Whomping Willow, Hermione and Amy will be BFFs in Dark Wizard studies, Ron will tell Draco to go out there, Harry will have to rescue him, and Amy and Draco fall in love?
Optional; The above turns into a threesome somehow.

Except we didn't see Snape creating spells until his sixth year of Hogwarts. It's not unbelievable that a brilliant, focused student could start writing his own spells at that age.

Amaryllis presumably doesn't even know how to cast spells, much less create new ones.
