[Hello, Awesome Island! This particular section of the CMA is relatively clear, actually, a good amount of the snow having melted and the runoff leaving the ground springy and damp; it's a bit warmer today than it has been lately, and N has apparently decided that it's about time that he greeted the day properly, a brown satchel made of thick

Oh.
...Oh.
You'll have to forgive him for blatantly staring at you, Lucas, because he recognizes those wings. He definitely recognizes those wings...but. But. You're a human and this is kind of confusing and wat.]

Hello, friend N! Wonderful weather this island is having, no?

You're - !
[...yeah, it's sinking in and holy mother of...something holy what has happened here and Reshiram has just asked him a question hang on]
Yes, I...it's lovely, but -

He sits back on his heels once he's sent the Roselia on its way; it's rather confused and not very happy with him, but he tried...he reaches up to brush some of the stray strands of his bangs out of the way, they're getting rather close to poking his eye and - ]
Ah.
[He gets to his feet, adjusting that satchel over his shoulder before approaching; his approach is shameless, without any sort of anxiousness or trepidation, though the smile is subdued somewhat - he's still not entirely ( ... )

If you are referring to the zoroark capable of human speech, then I've been told he no longer has his trainer here on the island with him.
[ he hesitates a moment. ] ...my own zoroark is in it's pokeball.

I didn't realize - another one, then. I'll have to request information from Zorro if I see him again...

I've always wondered how you trained.

[You're...that boy who is also from Unova; he knows your female counterpart back where he's from, but he's been introduced to a couple of versions of you on the island and he has no argument with you right now, so!]
I only train because it's necessary, and there really isn't any other way to do it - believe me, if there was a way to do so without bringing pain to these Pokémon, I would take that option in a heartbeat. But if it must be done this way, then of course I heal any harm that I cause them. Anything less would be cruel; this isn't their fault, and it's not worth it to make them suffer so I can benefit.
[He doesn't sound angry or condescending, and there's no real sense of tension in his voice; he's simply explaining how he does things, nothing more, nothing less.]

Ah... makes sense to me. It must cost a lot, though.

I think that healing any pain I may bring to others, and not just leaving them unconscious and alone, is well worth the cost.
[So disappoint.]

And it isn't too long before a wild Nuzleaf approaches; if you happen to let the battle finish uninterrupted, Silver, it'll become very clear that that...wasn't exactly a random occurrence, nor was it a one-time thing because he happened to pity that particular Roselia.]

I have to strengthen my friends in some way, and I refuse to just bring harm to others for our benefit. This is the least cruel way to help everyone - at least, that I can see.

He...is kind of nice to do that, really.]

N's more than content to let it go on its way, however, and he rocks back on his heels a bit, looking around to see where his friend has gotten to - ah.
He definitely makes eye contact, though he doesn't approach; from what he knows of you, your Pokémon seem to like you, but...hm. Of course, he has no idea that he hasn't met you, specifically, but...
Either way, he doesn't look displeased to see you. Just. Consider it a nonverbal "Hi there." 'Sup, Ash.]

[The word is a bit...unsure, but it's definitely audible; even if he believes the other individual is at least good to their own friends, if N's not discussing Important Matters, he's still a bit human-shy - friendly interactions, how do they work...]
Are you training as well?
