[Her memory's a little hazy, but the chirp sounds recognizable to Mesprit too. It's enough to make her stop her weaving for a moment to look for the voice's source.]

H-hello? Is someone there?

[Ah, her voice! Alto never forgets his Mama's voice, and that's definitely hers. So now here comes a swooping cottonbird, aiming for his Mama's arms. Clearly he is very, very happy!]

[There is one big thing about having amnesia: You tend to forget names, people, places and things. Even recovering those memories tends to be hard to do. Unfortunately, that's what's happened to Mesprit as the sudden voice catches her attention, making her look up from her work.]

Oh, thank you! They've turned out nice, don't you think so?

[She manages to smile happily back with a chuckle, her mind trying to remember who exactly he is. Blinking a couple of times is sign enough that the name alludes her at the moment. She feels bad that he knows her, yet Mesprit's managed to forget him... A light bit of nervousness is clearly in her voice.]

Ah, I guess so... I'm sorry, but what's your name again? I seem to have... forgotten it. [She blushes in embarrassment, hoping he doesn't mind her asking.]

[And actually, he's not offended at all; it isn't often that he directly involves himself in the lives of the Legends, and while he's fairly assured around most, given his role as a member of the Elite Four, it seems almost inappropriately conceited to expect Mesprit to recall every person she's ever met.]

[Nod-nod. Apparently the instructions are easy enough for a naive Lake Guardian to understand, so they're really basic.]

[ Approaches the girl from behind to peer over at what she's doing, hands behind her back and eyes full of curiosity. ]

Oh, hey! What're you up to?

[ Candice doesn't notice that it's Mesprit quite yet, but sees the array of flowers and listens to the girl's humming. ]

[It's an unfamiliar voice, though it's a nice-sounding one. Mesprit stops her humming to speak, though she remains focused on her latest work that's almost done. It's quite hard actually, the whole weaving thing with the thin stems and yarn, but she sounds excited about finishing another piece.]

Oh, I'm just making some crowns out of some flowers I've found! [After a few seconds of a quick hum, she makes a happy noise as the last part of the crown is finished. The sprite holds it up - it's a lovely purple one, almost like lilacs, with a single Gracidea in it. She's quite pleased, yes she is.] Ah! This one's done! [She chuckles, finally turning around to smile at the stranger.] Would you like to have it?
