[ Approaches the girl from behind to peer over at what she's doing, hands behind her back and eyes full of curiosity. ]

Oh, hey! What're you up to?

[ Candice doesn't notice that it's Mesprit quite yet, but sees the array of flowers and listens to the girl's humming. ]

[It's an unfamiliar voice, though it's a nice-sounding one. Mesprit stops her humming to speak, though she remains focused on her latest work that's almost done. It's quite hard actually, the whole weaving thing with the thin stems and yarn, but she sounds excited about finishing another piece.]

Oh, I'm just making some crowns out of some flowers I've found! [After a few seconds of a quick hum, she makes a happy noise as the last part of the crown is finished. The sprite holds it up - it's a lovely purple one, almost like lilacs, with a single Gracidea in it. She's quite pleased, yes she is.] Ah! This one's done! [She chuckles, finally turning around to smile at the stranger.] Would you like to have it?

That's adorable! It'd look great on my Froslass. [ Kneels over to the girl and takes the flower crown, smiling. ] I'm really into fashion so this kind of stuff is really great. [ Candice examines it for a bit and nods. ] Thank you!

[ Oh. Wait. Pink hair, and that really large jewel on her forehead... teenage-like. Is this...? ]

Mesprit, right? [ Wide-eyed, tilting her head a bit. This is the first time she's ever encountered any of the Lake Verity legendaries. ]

At the mention of her name, Mesprit gasps lightly. Either she looks really obvious or this girl's good at recognizing Sinnoh legendaries in human formes.]

Ah, yes! That's right! [Now she's curious.] H-how'd you guess?

[ Giggles! Wow, she's just as cute as Gardenia says. It's time for introductions! ]

It's nice to meet you, Mesprit. My name is Candice, the gym leader of Snowpoint City. I've heard a lot about you from Gardenia. I recently got on this strange island.

[ Plops down next to Mesprit, making sure not to sit down on any flowers. ]

Gotta say, I've never been thiiis close to a legendary before. [ Using her fingers to emphasize. ]

Ah! Gardenia told me about you! I'm glad to finally meet you, Candice!

[She smiles, but the girl's words make her blush bashfully.] But... Snowpoint City's close to where Big-Sis Uxie lives...

Likewise! [ Laughs again. ] Uxie may be nearby, but I've never actually had a good look at the legendary myself. I heard that Uxie was a shy one, too.

[ Fiddles around with the newly acquired flower crown. She is passively excited to put this on her Froslass. ]

[Now the sprite gets to laugh, though it's more of a light giggle.] Yep, that's Big-Sis, alright! She isn't as social as Azelf and I, but she's very smart!

[As she gathers another couple of colorful flowers to start another crown, her smile grows as her senses pick up on Candice's joy.] I'm so glad you like the flowers so much! I can feel how happy you are... and it makes me happy too!
