Okay...I told everyone that I did my nano this year, nut since the 25th of Nov until now I have been writing Kim Possible fan fic on fanfictrion.net so, there is that. That has given me another 100k words so far, I have done a full NaNo count 3 times over since the start of November. Man...maybe I need a life?

Well, the year from hell is finally over. Sick since the middle of May, plenty of ups and downs, losing my job. Yeah 2008 was the year of suxxors. I am looking forward to 2009, The year of the Ox. That starts on the 26th of January, so that should be fun.

I hope this year brings me health and more happiness and the same for everyone else.

Gorram bastards changed their minds. That jut pisses me off. First yes and then no. Makes me want to nuke them.

So, it looks like the fight will need to be taken to them, since it did get approved and then the business got the approving doc to change things.

So, on the news that isn't news yet...on the 24th I got a phone call from the VA business office who wanted to check to see if the person I wanted to see was in state. Nope but I should know if everything is approved and to be paid for by Wednesday at the latest.

Merry fracking X-mas indeed.

Some of you have heard the news, how I may have scored a major victory with the VA, but mostly I am waiting to get confirmation of the money. Once I do that then I will feel better about confirmation to everyone. No need to jinx myself, given my luck lately. But needless to say I am excited. Hopefully the new year will be fantastic!

So Obama won. A major Hell yeah for that. But Proposition 8 passed, which is not so cool. This is a bittersweet moment indeed for me. So, I got my hair cut today. A lot. The length cut off was about 7.5 inches, which was a good amount.

I hadn't cut my hair to that extent ever. The last major haircut I had gotten was in October of 2000, prior to my leaving the Military. It was a High and Tight with the back and sides shaved. Very Military. Now it,s just past shoulder length, which ( Read more... )
