The blood red moon was a theme that was common in Sasuke's own dreams as well as Muraki's. It wasn't surprising then that while Sasuke was sleeping he felt that tug Aisling had spoken of, and ended up in this new world. He looked up at the moon and a momentary feeling of panic filled him before he managed to calm himself down ( ... )

Muraki didn't expect this dream to end up open to intruders, but he's only a little surprised when he sees the boy he beat once before trying to play hero. After all, anything is possible here in Somarium, especially when dream walking seems to be the newest theme and bandwagon.

He laughs darkly and reaches into his pocket for a length of wire. If it binds someone with powers, they become useless and he remembers that power is what he hoped for when he took the boy's eye in the first place. "You couldn't beat me when I was simply human, boy. What makes you think you can now that I'm at full strength?"

Sasuke's eyes narrow the slightest bit as he watches Muraki. As the silver haired man would know everything was moving at a slower pace in Sasuke's field of vision, and he saw when Muraki pulled the wire from his coat.

He jumped quickly back and out of the way of the girl who hopefully had the sense to disappear to safety. As he moved he focused on the weapons he'd learned to bring with his dream self. Muraki wasn't the only one who used wire, and the special wire Sasuke had was so thin it was nearly invisible. A bit of it was already tied to two shuriken, and Sasuke withdrew those now.

"Because this time I can see you coming." He threw the shuriken, but not directly at Muraki. He put a spin on them so they would go past the man in white and wrap around him, effectively trapping him. Though there was no guarantee the moves would work against this man, it wasn't going to stop Sasuke from trying, and proving that he wouldn't be caught a second time.

Everything moving slower won't be much help if Muraki feels the need to teleport again, but for now Sasuke gets a bit of an edge by seeing the wire come out before Muraki gets a chance to use it.

The girl moves away, but only a little. She seems too frozen in shock by what's going on to be fully capable of running home.

"That doesn't mean much. I can disapper in an instant if I choose to." When the shuriken miss him, he laughs, wondering what the point was in that, and the moment that he feels wire trying to trap him, he vanishes in the space of a heartbeat to teleport and reappear behind Sasuke.

Kazuo enters the dream and looks around. He is just an observer in this. It doesn't matter to him what happens to the girl and he merely watches what is happening. Though such a thing might not seem normal when it comes to reactions, he doesn't seem to care about that either.

He is merely testing this dreamwalking thing since he has the opportunity. It is something to do.

Walking closer for a better look, he tilts his head to the side. Hm. Perhaps she'll die.

Since the additional presence is only observing, Muraki takes no notice and continues with his night. The girl can't outrun him forever, especially when he grabs her by the hair and tugs her in close enough that he can whisper in her ear. Whatever it is he says, it's enough to make her freeze up while he slips a scalpel into her stomach for the first time.

Blood first oozes around it and then pours once he removes the blade. He smiles and the light overhead reflects off the blood, making it seem almost black for an instant. The next time he stabs her, she finally screams.

Kazuo tilts his head to the side. She screaming now? He cannot figure out why she would. But then again, he can't understand much of what is happening aside from the fact that Muraki is killing her. Which does not bother him really. Everyone dies eventually.

Moving closer still, he practically stands right next to them as he looks at the blood that is flowing.

She's screaming because being stabbed repeatedly hurts and she doesn't want to die. In fact, now she's begging to be saved, saying Muraki can do whatever he wants to her as long as she lives.

For an instant, it looks like Muraki's about to consider her offer and simply enjoy her body as it bleeds but not hurt her further. But then he notices the boy next to him and turns. "What are you doing here?"

There is no warning. No sound. No flash. There is only a quick glimmer of light reflecting off metal from one side: three darts on a perfect course to bury into Muraki's neck and side.

Luckily, Muraki raises his arm in the instant between Omi arriving in his dream and him realizing the boy is there. It means the dart meant for his neck ends up in his wrist instead.

He hisses and laughs as he turns towards the source of the pain. "You do remember that this didn't work well on me last time, right?" Of course, last time he wasn't caught off guard, but he can regain the edge in a hurry. All it takes is a moment for him to focus and call down a swarm of bats, hoping they surround Omi to drain his energy while Muraki tugs the darts free.

Omi is prepared for teleportation and energy-draining touch. This is his first time seeing the bats. He runs towards Muraki and his would-be victim, not losing sight of his true goal: to get the girl out of his clutches before it's too late. He knows he can't fight Muraki face to face, leaving the only real hope one in which he paves a path of escape.

He doesn't look behind him or over his head to see how close the bats are. Ultimately, it doesn't matter.

"You can't save someone who's already dead in reality, Omi-kun." He's not sure if she can be saved here in his dream, but Muraki would love to see him fail because his reactions are far more entertaining that way.

The bats descend on Omi, draining just enough of his strength to heal Muraki's dart wounds.
