The pattern in my life: when I zero out a balance, I am rendered homeless shortly thereafter. Most recently, one week before the fire, I had paid off a credit card. The external hard drive that was in my bedroom has suffered some damage. Namely that I can't read all of the data. According to a handy list I keep elsewhere, it appears I have lost the mp3s of the following 101 albums (5444 tracks):

• They have not served an eviction notice, only told me they want me out.
• The building is no longer guarded by police.
• There are no posted notices that say I am not allowed in (only construction permits).
