New business cards just arrived - the text is not quite level.
The left and top margin are also narrower than my previous card, and make the excessive whitespace at right and bottom look even worse.
They've used a different blue in the logo (more royal, less navy).

Early to rise...
This morning I finally got around to getting up early enough[1] to catch the double-express train[2] to work. I think it saved me about 4 minutes in commute time. Prob won't bother in future.
[1] About half an hour earlier than usual...
[2] Normal train has 14 stops. Express misses 5. Double-express misses 9. -
Bloody bloody admin
Another half day gone just like that with last minute admin requirements...Surely it shouldn't happen so regularly (not even counting the multiple days on the DFAT 4 warning fiasco)...
And have to leave early for med apptmt (very unlikely to be anything serious).

There are creationists on campus today handing out a special edition (yes, helpfully edited) of Darwin's "On the Origin of the Species" with special creationist faux-word about how it's wrong and how Darwin was really actually religious - ugh. Have recently devoured the Ken McLeod trio: "Star Fraction", "Stone Canal" and "The Cassini Division". Had been avoiding them for some years as Typical MilSF.
