Reading
Have recently devoured the Ken McLeod trio: "Star Fraction", "Stone Canal" and "The Cassini Division". Had been avoiding them for some years as Typical MilSF. And possibly because of the endorsement of Iain (M) Banks who I possibly (worry that I) rate a little too highly. Enjoyed them.
Now onto "The Secret History" (Donna Tartt), which I get mixed up with Mary Gentle's "A Secret History" which I really liked, and which may have spoiled Connie Willis's "Doomsday Book" for me. Nyeve has been hassling me to read it for a while. Am more than halfway through after only a couple of days and am rather enjoying it.
